articles from manuscript to matchprint for style, consistency, and clarity. Worked
with editors to resolve queries and clarify text. Tracked articles through editorial

Theatre Bay Area, ad program manager and copy editor (San
Francisco, 1991 to 1993). Managed and pasted up subsidized theater ad pages for local
newspapers. Copy-edited, researched, and fact-checked Callboard magazine,
Management Memo, and Theatre Directory of the Bay Area.
New York Times Magazine Company (New York, 1988 to 1989),
assistant production editor, Family Circle. Coordinated work of art, editorial,
and production departments. Managed copy flow through editorial and production processes;
